GATE COAP 2026 Round 4 offers have been released. Candidates who registered for COAP Counselling 2026 can now view their offers by visiting the official COAP 2026 portal at coap2026.iitr.ac.in. The decision window is open, and the last date to submit choices for Round 4 offers is June 3, 2026.
CEED 2027 exam date has been announced. The examination is scheduled to be held on January 17, 2027. The application process is expected to begin in October 2026 for admission to M.Des programmes.
COAP 2026 Round 3 offers have been released. Candidates who registered for COAP Counselling 2026 can now view their offers by visiting the official COAP 2026 portal at coap2026.iitr.ac.in. The last date to submit decisions for Round 3 offers is May 27, 2026.

IISc Bangalore Admission Process 2025
- As per the IISc Bangalore admission process, candidates have to appear for JEE Advanced/IISER IAT for B.Tech course, GATE for M.Tech course, CAT/GMAT/GATE for MMS course and CEED for M.Des course.
- Applications are made via the online admissions portal admissions.iisc.ac.in.
- To register, select the option “New user to register click here” on the admissions portal and provide your name, date of birth, and email address.
- Start filling out your application form by submitting the documents and paying the required application fee.
- After logging into the portal, you will arrive at the “Application Status” page. Here, you can view both completed and incomplete applications.
- To begin a new application, click on “Apply for another Programme” located in the “My Application” panel on the left side of the page.
- Candidates meeting the IISc Bangalore cutoff will be eligible for the counselling process.
- After the seat allotment, candidates have to pay the IISc Bangalore fees and get their documents verified.

Overall Admission to the B. Sc. program at IISc Bangalore takes place via 4 modes: JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, IAT and NEET. Till 2021 there was a KVPY mode of entry but it was replaced by IAT (IISER Aptitude test) since last year. Cutoffs for different categories via different exams canbe checked at official website of the UG department of IISC: bs-ug.iisc.ac.in. The only eligibility criterias are to successfully pass class 12 examinations from a recognised board and to clear the cutoff of any of the 4 exams mentioned above in your category. Applications for the program are to filled at the official webiste in april-may every year. If you clear the cutoff then the institute will reach you on your official email-ID with a provisional offer letter and you will be invited for an in-person counselling session to the Bangalore campus in June. There are 3 rounds of counselling, and at the in person counselling you are given all the information about the program, fees and future prospects.

IISc Bangalore has a diverse campus spanning 440 acres in Bengaluru, the heart of India's technology industry, known for aerospace, electronics, and information technology. IISc Bangalore Scholarships
The university offers various scholarships to its students based on their academic merit and economical background. The scholarship varies for course to course and some fellowships are offered monthly as well. At the time of joining all students are eligible for scholarship/fellowship from CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/MHRD/AICTE/DAE (NBHM)/ DST except for students of M Sc and M.Mgt programmes/B.Tech/M.Tech through CFTI Mode/Joint M. Tech in Semiconductor Technology/1 Year Master of Engineering. Apart from these IISc Bangalore scholarships, students can also avail scholarships from GE/ INFOSYS/ IBM/ HP/ TATA/ PHILIPS/ BELL LAB/ MICROSOFT/Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DietY).
